RUSH AND SPEED, THE DIFFERENCE - Elvira Jordan

RUSH AND SPEED, THE DIFFERENCE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved! I must admit that God has been exceptionally good to me in a special way. In my journey of going from nothing to becoming something, it has always been a story of “…thou prepared a table before me…” and it has been a great journey. I won’t even dare to say that it has been easy because it has not. On my journey, I have hit the ground so many times. I have had it tough. I have fought through storms, dirt, deserts, wars and everything else.  Most of my obstacles I would say were as a result of my own ego. Thinking that I was in control of my journey and what my life should be.  I had tried to work things out on my own and make things happen in places that were not meant for me, or at a time that wasn’t mine. At a point in my life, there was this urge to make things happen fast. I started putting in more effort than required and in the process, I started making wrong decisions and desperate moves.  Initially when you thi

LET’S BE TOLERANT - Elvira Jordan

LET’S BE TOLERANT - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved, Today I want to share a little word about TOLERANCE. At the time I penned this down, a certain Christian female student was lynched in Sokoto State by some Muslims, in the name of religious blasphemy. This incident had turned on something inside  a lot of people, especially Christians, pointing us to the fact that something is really wrong in the world around us.  Most of us had condemned the actions of the Muslims, forgetting that even outside religion, we fail to accommodate the excesses and individualism of others.  Asides the dark religious, traditional and cultural blankets we use to cover the depth of evil perpetrated by man against man, you will see that humanity has lost it.  It is now a world of “survival of the fittest”. People trying so hard to make it in life and to live well, at the expense of others. People reacting to the slightest provocation without thought. Tribal and communal wars started over nothing. Kidnappin

THE COURT WITHOUT A JUDGE - Elvira Jordan

THE COURT WITHOUT A JUDGE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved!!! Have you heard of the best court in the world? A court that needs no judge or master.  A court that follows you wherever you go, and sometimes passes judgement even before the deed is committed. Strange but it does exist. Not in any state, country or region but within the consciousness of every RATIONAL HUMAN BEING that exists on this earth. At the core of every rational thinking man, there is an inner voice that always whispers within us. A voice that can clearly differentiate good from bad; right or wrong; evil or just. It is an inner knowing that presents us with the best options, and also holds us accountable for our decisions and actions, whether good or bad.  It is called CONSCIENCE. This court is the most efficient because it is a one-man-court that plays the role of a defendant, a witness, a judge and a jury. Even when you think no man sees, you see yourself and so does your inner consciousness. Even when you cho

NOBODY TO BLAME - Elvira Jordan

NOBODY TO BLAME - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 In our journey through life, we have all gone through difficult situations, and as the typical human mind works, while reflecting on the situation we look for the causes, who to blame, what to blame and where to transfer our aggression. It is often a common feeling, and blaming our problems on someone or something will most times make us feel better about ourselves and about our situation, but doesn’t guarantee that the negative circle will end or lessons will be learnt.  I have seen friendships end, relationships broken, good contacts savored because someone had to take the fall or be blamed for something. There is even a pattern on social media, especially on Twitter; whatever blame we cannot direct at someone or something, we can always blame it on Desmond Elliot. 😂 (Just for fun.) The blame game makes people feel better about what has happened to them or what they are going through. Some people who are in the early stages of
