CHOOSING AMBITION OR PURPOSE - Elvira Jordan

CHOOSING AMBITION OR PURPOSE - Elvira Jordan

The things I think about when my mind is not occupied are kind of crazy but they guide my daily life and all I do.

I few weeks ago my line of thought hit something…

There are people who have no ambition, nothing they aspire to be, nothing they want to achieve and nothing to care about. Yes. They exists.

They don’t care about purpose, being wealthy, living their best life or achieving any great fit. They are only interested in meeting their basic needs and nothing more: a cloth over their backs, a roof over their heads and food on their table.

The cloth doesn’t have to be designers, one small roof is okay for them, the food they eat and their table doesn’t need to be luxurious. As long as it helps them to see the next day, they are okay. Yes. They do exist.

This kept me wondering and asking myself “what exactly were we created in this world to do?” This question took me down a rabbit hole of thoughts that got me into thinking about “our purpose on earth”.

The category of people I mentioned earlier are likely to those categories of people who have ambitions on earth but their only ambition is to make money and live a large life. To me, these sets of people are no different from the first ones I mentioned. The only difference is that the latter puts more effort into life than the former.

While the first group of people care only about their basic needs, the second set only care about their material needs; how to acquire more material things and upgrade the ones they already have. As ambitious as this may sound, it’s actually empty, soulless and meaningless. You can only understand when you have all you pray for today. When you do, you will want more, and keep wanting more… an endless spiral of “wants” that lead nowhere.

My message today is very short and simple. As much as we are all here on this earth, trying to survive this lifetime and enjoy it as we go, we were all created to fill in a very vital role on earth, which can be best described as our “purpose”.

As the year 2026 progresses, let’s make it a point of importance to ask ourselves “what role was I created to fill in the circle of life?”

Ask your self “where do I belong in the grand scheme of things?”

Chasing this role is what makes life worth living… not the cars, money or houses. The fulfillment of being needed by the world and accomplishing that role daily is priceless.

I can also assure you that when you chase that role and get yourself aligned with it, all the riches of the world (wealth, health, Joy etc) are yours for the taking.

When you serve the earth truthfully and wholeheartedly, the earth serves you in return.

As you go about your day today, ponder on these words.

BIBLE VERSE: Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, help me to walk on the path you have created for me and to succeed in it daily, as a testimony to Your goodness and blessings. Amen 🀲🏽

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.

TIME IS NOT IN A HURRY - Elvira Jordan

TIME IS NOT IN A HURRY - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved! Have you ever been late for work or an event and you’re trying to meet up by doing everything in a hurry? You will see that as you’re trying to comb your hair in a hurry, the brush will fall off a couple of times for you to pick it up and continue. You may wear your jacket the wrong way and be forced to take it off and wear it again. All this will make you late the more. We must have experienced this one way or the other. Yesterday, I realized that we have just 4 months till the end of the year and I just shrugged it off because even though the year ran fast, “What Will Be Will Be”.  This realization may be triggering for some people, especially those who have grandeur plans for the year, lists of achievements, things they want to accomplish in 2025 and things like that. If you haven’t done what you think you need to do, the rush of the year may actually mess with your mind, making you feel like you’re being left behind....

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 A few days ago, I stumbled on a video where Apostle Femi Lazarus spoke about “Seeing” and it inspired my message today. Even as a child, I have always lived in a fantasy world and sometimes I feel like I take the fantasy thing too far because at some point, everything around me could be on fire and I will just create an alternate reality in my head where I am dancing in the snows. Everyone else could be worried or fearful about a dire situation and I will just picture  the best possible outcome of that situation and allow myself to remain there, while others bugger their minds off on how serious the matter is. Some people have always seen my view as “Toxic Positivity” and that has never been a problem to me. There are times when I would agree that I took the dreaming thing too far, but more often than not, it was the ideal thing for me because while others are worked up over the situation and worried sick about a p...
