THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 1) - Elvira Jordan

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 1) - Elvira Jordan

Good Morning Beloved! ✨

I always say “morning” because anytime you get to see this message, that is your morning… (a little side message for my family).

******

Right from my childhood days, I have always had a creative mind. I see the world a lot different from how it actually is or how it should be. Even when things are really wrong, I may have a completely perfect scenario in my own head, one that keeps my mind at peace. I am quite certain that when I narrate some events involving other people, my own perspective may be surprising to them.

As a child who didn’t grow up with all the security and comfort required, I developed a coping mechanism that always kept me cheerful and happy. Everyone else could have better stuff, be living a better life or have better things but for me, it was a thing of the mind. I always see mine as unique and superior to whatever others may have.

As time went on, I began to realize that whenever I see the things I do not have and focus my mind on the things I wanted, they quickly became a reality.

In many situations, I have seen life turn around from what I didn’t stand a chance to have, to something I never even expected. Although from time to time, my human mind, doubt and anxiety always stood in the way, I still was able to get a lot of things done, received a lot of goodness and happiness because I strongly wanted it in my mind.

Somehow, this has also gone sideways…

Like, I see my deepest fears until they begin to happen. The uncontrolled mind is very dangerous… but we are focusing on the positive today.

There are 3 important moments I don’t ever joke with… 1) those few minutes between when I am awake and when I fall asleep 2) the few drowsy minutes when I wake up 3) that midnight jolt of energy that wakes you up for a few minutes for no reason, before you fall asleep again.

These moments are very important to me because I found out that at these moments, I am no longer fully in control of myself. These are important moments when the conscious and subconscious mind meets and greet each other.

The subconscious mind is the part of the brain that is not directly accessible to our conscious awareness but significantly influences our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It acts as a storage for memories, habits, emotions, and instincts, and it controls automatic functions like breathing and life’s balance.

This subconscious mind is what rules us with or without our consent and is more active when we are asleep.

While we are unable to control our subconscious, we can gradually program it to our own advantage by changing our thought patterns-storage of the mind, reprogramming how we see ourselves, rearranging the trajectory of our lives.

This is why people sleep with subliminal music and affirmations on… to reprogram their subconscious minds when it’s in full form (when we are unconscious).

This can be explained in simple examples…

If your mind is occupied by thoughts of an accident you witnessed that didn’t involve you, maybe even for a few minutes, you may fall asleep and begin to dream about seeing yourself in an accident. This has been registered in your subconscious. If you allow the thoughts and dreams to linger in your mind, you may find yourself in a similar accident as well. This is birthed by the uncontrollable subconscious mind.

When I gained knowledge of how the subconscious mind affects my reality, I took a firm hold of those 3 times that I don’t joke with… these are the times I use to reprogram my mind, set my intentions for my day and my entire life.

Extremely difficult to control but I use these moments to see the things that I want. Convincing my mind to see what it deems impossible as POSSIBLE. Readjusting my own belief system from what it is to how I want it to be.

In my journey of self awareness, this has been the most challenging part of becoming who I want to be and I also have to admit that I am yet to scratch the surface of manipulating my subconscious mind. However, today and now is a good place to start. One day at a time.

(To be continued…)

BIBLE VERSE: Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, I take charge of my mind, my belief and my thinking, to see only that which is beautiful; and to behold and experience all the blessings this day and my life holds for me. Amen 🀲🏽

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.

Tackling Violence and Criminality in the Niger Delta with Television Designed Content; A SEARCH Initiative

In a bid to tackle violence and criminality in the Niger Delta, Search for Common Ground and its consortium of partners have introduced several components that examine the role of the government and government institutions, security agencies, community representatives, civil society organizations and the media, to foster an inclusive approach in creating a new face for the Niger Delta. Due to its wealth in natural resources, the need for resource control has generated decades long battle that have defaced the oil rich region, even as the communities and people of the Niger Delta strive towards peaceful coexistence, to drive peace and progress in the region. For this cause, SEARCH in collaboration with Foundation for Partnership in the Niger Delta (PIND) and Stakeholders Democracy Network (SDN) embarked on a peace building project which was funded by the European Union with the theme, “A Community Centered Approach To Transforming Violence And Criminality In The Niger Delta” which...

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 A few days ago, I stumbled on a video where Apostle Femi Lazarus spoke about “Seeing” and it inspired my message today. Even as a child, I have always lived in a fantasy world and sometimes I feel like I take the fantasy thing too far because at some point, everything around me could be on fire and I will just create an alternate reality in my head where I am dancing in the snows. Everyone else could be worried or fearful about a dire situation and I will just picture  the best possible outcome of that situation and allow myself to remain there, while others bugger their minds off on how serious the matter is. Some people have always seen my view as “Toxic Positivity” and that has never been a problem to me. There are times when I would agree that I took the dreaming thing too far, but more often than not, it was the ideal thing for me because while others are worked up over the situation and worried sick about a p...
