A CONTAGIOUS KIND OF JOY - Elvira Jordan

A CONTAGIOUS KIND OF JOY - Elvira Jordan

Good Morning Beloved! 😊

I hope you all know by now that my write ups are always developed from my own experiences, feelings and thoughts. Yes they are.
I find inspiration in my life. I seek wisdom from my struggles. I create lessons out of my despair.
That’s to make you understand that I don’t write out of a place of feeling complete or perfect. I want you and others to know that whatever we need from life lies deep within us and can be accessed whenever we need.

This last few weeks have been one turbulent week for me. A lot of things that were meant to weight me down happened. An annoying encounter with the police, spending money on ventures that didn’t yield. A flooded apartment. Missed contract.

Despite these issues, nothing was able to phase my joy. Naaaa!
Of course I will always have a few minutes of anger and frustration when something goes awry, but this doesn’t last longer than required because JOY is my default setting.

The peculiar part of it is that underneath all that happened, there have also been high points and some good moments that can’t be ignored. Infact, I think the down times are generated to make me forget about the other beautiful things that are happening in my life in different areas.

So instead of focusing on all that went wrong, I stood and I’m still standing on the good things that happened around me.
I have this unexplainable kind of Joy. I find myself smiling, dancing and singing happily, amidst some money leaving my account to sort out unexpected issues.

In my experience, whenever I have issues back to back, there’s something BIG about to hit me and I stand on that business. 😌

That is the joy I want to have, that is the joy I want to maintain, and that is the joy I want to share to everyone that reads this.

So, whatever you are feeling, whatever you’re doing or whatever you’re going through, I want to share this joy that I feel.

Close your eyes for a moment, break through the darkness and all that has gone wrong around you. At the bottom of it all, you will see the good things that have happened in your life and around you.

Bro/ Sis! Just pick something exciting and tear a few steps. If you don’t know how to do leg work, dance owigiri, or any other steps you know because Joy is coming and your celebration will usher it in.

Even if you don’t have anything to celebrate, just remember that this week is salary week for most. Even if you don’t earn salary, salary earners will patronize your business. Even if you don’t have a business, people you usually bill for money will have money this week. πŸ˜‚

Asides the money part, I assure you that when you celebrate in the midst of difficulty, it tears away the fabric of pain and sets a clear path to usher in something amazing and special.

I feel so happy, joyful and amazing today, and I want you to tap into that joy and be happy with me. 😁✨🌞

BIBLE VERSE: James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
Philippians 4:4 ~ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, let there be Joy overflow within and around us. Cause us to have many and more reasons to celebrate back-to-back. Amen πŸ™πŸ½

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 A few days ago, I stumbled on a video where Apostle Femi Lazarus spoke about “Seeing” and it inspired my message today. Even as a child, I have always lived in a fantasy world and sometimes I feel like I take the fantasy thing too far because at some point, everything around me could be on fire and I will just create an alternate reality in my head where I am dancing in the snows. Everyone else could be worried or fearful about a dire situation and I will just picture  the best possible outcome of that situation and allow myself to remain there, while others bugger their minds off on how serious the matter is. Some people have always seen my view as “Toxic Positivity” and that has never been a problem to me. There are times when I would agree that I took the dreaming thing too far, but more often than not, it was the ideal thing for me because while others are worked up over the situation and worried sick about a p...

Tackling Violence and Criminality in the Niger Delta with Television Designed Content; A SEARCH Initiative

In a bid to tackle violence and criminality in the Niger Delta, Search for Common Ground and its consortium of partners have introduced several components that examine the role of the government and government institutions, security agencies, community representatives, civil society organizations and the media, to foster an inclusive approach in creating a new face for the Niger Delta. Due to its wealth in natural resources, the need for resource control has generated decades long battle that have defaced the oil rich region, even as the communities and people of the Niger Delta strive towards peaceful coexistence, to drive peace and progress in the region. For this cause, SEARCH in collaboration with Foundation for Partnership in the Niger Delta (PIND) and Stakeholders Democracy Network (SDN) embarked on a peace building project which was funded by the European Union with the theme, “A Community Centered Approach To Transforming Violence And Criminality In The Niger Delta” which...
