RISE ABOVE THE NEGATIVE VOICE - Elvira Jordan

RISE ABOVE THE NEGATIVE VOICE - Elvira Jordan

Good Morning Beloved! πŸ˜ƒ

I remember a while back when a loved one had to go through a stomach surgery. Within a period of 3 days, an appendix had ruptured in her stomach and she needed immediate operation. She was taken to a clinic that said the bills for the surgery were 700-800k.

We were torn between the emergency of the surgery and how we would raise that amount of money in a few hours to save her life, as we understood that such issues could be life threatening.

I called a close friend to help me out with some money which he couldn’t even provide, but gave me a vital world. He said “when something serious happens around you, the attack of the devil is not really what is going on. It is the fear he plants in your mind while going through that situation. If you can overcome that fear, you have already won the battle.”

These words got stuck in my head from that day till today. With this little knowledge, I was able to control the state of mind of everyone involved in the issue and somehow, that episode passed so easily that it was almost hard to believe how we all sailed through that situation so swiftly.

Of recent something has been boiling heavy on my mind. There are  certain things  I am hoping and wishing would get to me in the nearest future, and somehow, my wait was gradually turning into that anxious need to see the ball rolling.

It took me less than a minute to put my mind in order. I have learnt to control the voices in my head so much that even when things may seem to go bad in people’s eyes, my world is always like a bed of roses, and my personal outcomes are always positive at the end.

When we are expectant, it is very easy for our minds to run around wildly, if we don’t learn to control our thoughts. Our every day will be like… “why is it wasting time? why is it not happening now? why the delay? Did they already choose someone else? Was my proposal not good enough? Maybe they were not impressed by my work? My village people are at it again. Somebody must have gone to spoil my name…”

Bit by bit, one small doubtful voice in your head will spin itself until it becomes a very big entanglement of anxious thoughts that doesn’t serve you nor your purpose/ expectations.

Although people find this hard to understand, I must say that our thought patterns and conscious mind rumination has a big role to play in our lives, especially when dealing with something that is outside of ourselves. That small voice in our mind is an active creator of our daily reality.

Everything on earth exudes an energy. Everything on earth responds to energy. The words you say are energies. Your thoughts are energies. Your pen is an energy… everything is an energy.

Although we only see the physical aspect, everything that happens around is as a result of the manipulation of energies to arrive at a particular result. Your energy and the energies of others involved births every moment in life.

When we treat life with this consciousness, we become very aware of the energy that we are at every given moment, the energy we exude when interacting with others, the energy we declare when we speak and the energy we carry in all our actions.

I ask you today, what kind of energy do you want to carry into a new week? Is it an energy of success, excellence, triumph, victory, positivity? I guess the answer will always be affirmative in this regard.

Then let that energy show in your personal expression, your smile, your approach to work, your interactions with others and your personal self talk.

I want to remind us today that God has done what He needs to do for us as humans and is just watching over us as our “Overseer”. Everything that happens around us is birthed by us and the people around us..

Carry this consciousness with you.
Go out today and create the world that you desire. Help others around you to create the world you all want in your lives.

As you go about your day today, ponder on these words and make a conscious effort to take charge of your life and your day.

BIBLE VERSE: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,  casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

PRAYER: Dear Lord, today I take charge of my life and my day. I declare that wherever I go, the world will answer to me. For anything relating to me today, Favour, Grace, Excellence, Success, Beauty, Radiance and Abundance shall be my portion. Amen πŸ™πŸ½

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 A few days ago, I stumbled on a video where Apostle Femi Lazarus spoke about “Seeing” and it inspired my message today. Even as a child, I have always lived in a fantasy world and sometimes I feel like I take the fantasy thing too far because at some point, everything around me could be on fire and I will just create an alternate reality in my head where I am dancing in the snows. Everyone else could be worried or fearful about a dire situation and I will just picture  the best possible outcome of that situation and allow myself to remain there, while others bugger their minds off on how serious the matter is. Some people have always seen my view as “Toxic Positivity” and that has never been a problem to me. There are times when I would agree that I took the dreaming thing too far, but more often than not, it was the ideal thing for me because while others are worked up over the situation and worried sick about a p...

Tackling Violence and Criminality in the Niger Delta with Television Designed Content; A SEARCH Initiative

In a bid to tackle violence and criminality in the Niger Delta, Search for Common Ground and its consortium of partners have introduced several components that examine the role of the government and government institutions, security agencies, community representatives, civil society organizations and the media, to foster an inclusive approach in creating a new face for the Niger Delta. Due to its wealth in natural resources, the need for resource control has generated decades long battle that have defaced the oil rich region, even as the communities and people of the Niger Delta strive towards peaceful coexistence, to drive peace and progress in the region. For this cause, SEARCH in collaboration with Foundation for Partnership in the Niger Delta (PIND) and Stakeholders Democracy Network (SDN) embarked on a peace building project which was funded by the European Union with the theme, “A Community Centered Approach To Transforming Violence And Criminality In The Niger Delta” which...
