A TIME FOR DOUBLE EFFORT - Elvira Jordan

A TIME FOR DOUBLE EFFORT - Elvira Jordan

Good Morning Beloved! 😊

Going about my everyday life, I have a really relaxed attitude and belief that all I need to do is just my own little part and just let things flow. But there are situations that need more than just your “little part”. There are situations that require your full strength, attention and efforts.

There are certain times in our lives when everything may seem on a standstill or the progress of our endeavor may appear slow or not forthcoming at all. There are times when things will look to be moving really slow; grand efforts yielding minimal results or less than our expectations.

These times are one of the most challenging because it is moments like this that kills the zeal to keep moving, makes us want to relax or just give up and let everything go.

Although there are times I have advised people to just chill for a moment and watch things unfold, today before you chill there are certain things you need to be sure to have done and put in place before you finally surrender to the will of God and the universe.

Before you rest, be sure that you have done all that is required of you to do. Even when you have done so sit back and Ask yourself:
What options have I not explored?
What can I do differently?
Does this situation need me to step forward or step back a bit?

There are certain things we want to do in life, goals we want to achieve and milestones we need to cross that needs the total commitment of our efforts in order to work out.

For such situations and milestones, the bare minimum effort or passive approach may not really work. What is required is an extra push, an extra effort, thinking outside the box, putting in double hours, staying up late, burning midnight candles, taking long walks, working long hours or putting in double effort.

Today I want us to remember that the only time we are allowed to rest and let God do his thing is when we have done ALL that is required of us to do. I don’t mean doing the extra out of desperation or trying to drive a car that doesn’t have an engine. I mean making sure that you have done ALL that you need to do.

There are certain life choices that you don’t just leave to chance. These situations need double efforts to prove your commitment and dedication to the outcome. Not proof to impress anyone but to prove to yourself that you are worthy of the excellent result that comes with that goal.

When you have put in that required 100%, that situation has no choice but to work out for you.
If it eventually doesn’t work out as planned, it means God has other plans for you or is trying to let you know that you have done your part, it’s time for you to just relax and let Him do his thing.
But before then, make sure you put Double Effort into that dream, that goal, that project.

It has no choice but to work out for our good.

BIBLE VERSE: Colossians 3:23-24
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a]you serve the Lord Christ.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, we ask for the strength to do all that is required of us. Today we will mark progress, completed projects, success and all round Excellence. Amen πŸ™πŸ½

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.
