WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE - Elvira Jordan

WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE - Elvira Jordan

(Revised)

Hello Beloved! 😘

There was a #time when being "Woke" was in vogue. People used to talk about being "Woke", describing themselves as "Woke" and urging others to be #Woke.

At the time, anyone who wasn't as wise as the standard of norm, and wasn't up and doing was considered "not-woke".

I watched as people used the word at the time, but I personally never understood what being Woke really meant and neither did most people who used it. But in recent years, I have understood the meaning of being "Woke" and why everyone needs to be Woke.

Being Woke is simply an act of being #awake. Not awake from a physical sleep but awake to a higher level of consciousness and sensitivity.

We all exist in a Matrix (just like the movie) where we are all so carried away with the flow of life, without really paying attention to what's underneath the flow.

When we are mentally asleep, we wake up every morning to conform and to live our lives based on certain principles and standards that are not in allignment with who we truly are, but just a replica of what we see, the people we interact with, what we consume and the generally ideology of the world.

If you still live in the #Matrix, you're missing out on life. You're yet to truly live. You are looking but not really seeing. Oh What sweetness you're missing out on.

I want to let you know that more awaits us outside the box. There's more to life than just waking up everyday. There is something we are yet to see and discover, only if we can take off the sheets, wake up, stand still, listen closely, open our eyes and see.

Every human being on earth needs to step back and "awake" to their life, with a new sense of being in this world. To wake up to the enlightenment of who we are and what our lives are suppose to look like.

When we awake to this consciousness, we will begin to see what we never saw before. We will experience life in it's fullness. We will see that all we seek outside ourselves has been within us all the while.

The Universe no longer becomes a puzzle. The true map of the world is released to us. The hidden truths are unearthed. Life's questions are answered within us.

Life will begin to happen to us according to our own perspective. The Answers to Questions that have been long standing in our hearts, will be revealed to us.

When one is truly awake, your sensitivity to the world becomes heightened; you can connect with the world and understand the dynamics of it.

For one who is truly woke, He doesn't just hear, he listens. He doesn't just walk, he moves. He doesn't look, he sees. He does just live and exist as another human on earth. One who is awake experiences life in it's fullness.

To be really woke, one needs to ask God and the Universe some important questions like "Who am I? Why am I here?."

When we consciously begin to ask these questions, the answers will slowly come to us, our eyes will truly be open, we will wake up to a new consciousness.

Being Awake also comes with a certain element of wonder and excitement, when we find ourselves suddenly feeling very much alive.

Being “Awake” may happen spontaneously for must without them knowing. But if you want to wake up, it has to start with a deep “need-to-know”.

As you go about your day today, I want you to ponder on the words written here.

BIBLE VERSE: Romans 13:11

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed

PRAYER: Dear Lord, open our eyes to true knowledge and to understand the world, that our every step will be according to our Divine Life Path. Amen

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan

DREAMS AND VISIONS ARE FREE - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 😊 A few days ago, I stumbled on a video where Apostle Femi Lazarus spoke about “Seeing” and it inspired my message today. Even as a child, I have always lived in a fantasy world and sometimes I feel like I take the fantasy thing too far because at some point, everything around me could be on fire and I will just create an alternate reality in my head where I am dancing in the snows. Everyone else could be worried or fearful about a dire situation and I will just picture  the best possible outcome of that situation and allow myself to remain there, while others bugger their minds off on how serious the matter is. Some people have always seen my view as “Toxic Positivity” and that has never been a problem to me. There are times when I would agree that I took the dreaming thing too far, but more often than not, it was the ideal thing for me because while others are worked up over the situation and worried sick about a p...

Tackling Violence and Criminality in the Niger Delta with Television Designed Content; A SEARCH Initiative

In a bid to tackle violence and criminality in the Niger Delta, Search for Common Ground and its consortium of partners have introduced several components that examine the role of the government and government institutions, security agencies, community representatives, civil society organizations and the media, to foster an inclusive approach in creating a new face for the Niger Delta. Due to its wealth in natural resources, the need for resource control has generated decades long battle that have defaced the oil rich region, even as the communities and people of the Niger Delta strive towards peaceful coexistence, to drive peace and progress in the region. For this cause, SEARCH in collaboration with Foundation for Partnership in the Niger Delta (PIND) and Stakeholders Democracy Network (SDN) embarked on a peace building project which was funded by the European Union with the theme, “A Community Centered Approach To Transforming Violence And Criminality In The Niger Delta” which...
