MAINTAIN JOY, PEACE AND LOVE - Elvira Jordan

MAINTAIN JOY, PEACE AND LOVE - Elvira Jordan

Good Morning Beloved!!!

The year is about to come to an end, and I have noticed that the end of the year comes with different colors of temptations.

I don’t know if I am the only one who has noticed but right before the merriments of December, people seem to be at an edge, and sometimes unexpected things happen.

This energy usually starts in September, thins down in December and becomes even more in January and February, when people are trying a new start.

This period is very important because it’s a gateway to a new season and how you enter this season will determine how it will work out for you.

People have gone through a lot this year, and some have been going through a lot for a long time.

Some people have had it hotter than others and somehow, people are carrying a certain level of stress, pain and unease within them, looking for an avenue to dump their emotional baggages.

As we move into the festive season, it is important for our personal emotional health and the good of those around us to maintain our cool, no matter how the “gbas-gbos” will be coming our way.

In all your interactions with people, always remember that you are not in control of other people’s actions, their behavior or words are not a reflection of who/what you are, and you do not have to indulge.

Choose to be peaceful, joyful and loving, no matter what it takes.

Especially for me, this is easier said than done but the goal is to maintain a positive and peaceful energy all through.

Appreciate what you have and be grateful for it. If you have enough to celebrate the festivities, share with others and be merry. If you don’t, appreciate what you have and be grateful for it. Let your joy be firm, as we celebrate life and another year around the sun.

The goal is to end the year in the best way possible, and to usher in a fresh year of positive possibilities, not one of pain, envy, anger and strife.

One small conversation, if not properly handled, could lead to verbal exchanges, fights, altercations and actions that you could regret.

Let’s be conscious of the actions of others, our responses and likely consequences.

Resist the ego’s urge to be hurt by every little thing. Resist the ego’s urge to retaliate extremely. Resist the temptation to serve people with thesame energy they serve you.

While we all maintain boundaries and act humanely, let’s end the year with joy, peace and love all around us and our next season (year) will be filled with beauty, success, growth and excellence. Not with hurt, new enemies, police cases, court cases or injuries (physical or emotional).

BIBLE VERSE: Galatians 5:22-26

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, as we move into the end of the year, towards another year of possibilities, let Your Love, Joy and Peace overflow. May we end the year in goodness and start the new year in excellence. Amen

Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.
