If you live in Nigeria, you will recall back in 2014 when terrorism sky rocketed and over 300 school girls were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State. Back then we all saw it as northerners undoing themselves. Those of us in the south west, south east and south south had sympathized with them and moved on. Fast forward to 12 years later in this big 2026, terrorism and banditry have taken over the entire north, covered the middle belt and now ravaging the south. You may be feeling safe in your own corner but it’s creeping closer and it’s just a matter of time before it gets to our doorstep...

Not because I have everything or because everything is perfect with me, but because I have been able to find the perfection within every imperfection. This means a lot to me because it’s a state of mind I have worked on for years, trying to reach this head space where I live in the present, appreciate all I have going on for me, completely block out negativity, ignore people who drain me and just keep counting blessings. I have taken years to practice living in the moment and it’s bliss.  In this gorgeous head space I am in, I try all I can to live in the present. However, some of us tend to be so judgmental of others and quick to point out other people’s weaknesses.
