THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 2) - Elvira Jordan

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 2) - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved 🎄 I promised a 2nd Part of this topic and here it goes… If you missed the first part, click here to catch up.  **** Many of us may have experienced this one way or another… I mean, everyone around you is down with Malaria and you’re saying to yourself “this one everybody has malaria, very soon my own will start…” and a few days later it starts.  Another example is “whenever I follow this road, I always hit my foot against a stone…” and even before you finish the statement, you are already tumbling over a stone. These are examples of how the subconscious mind works.  it doesn’t mean you’re unlucky or someone has set a charm for you on that particular road. The subconscious mind cannot differentiate positive from negative. It is a system that produces what you create in your mind, just the way you feed it. It doesn’t care whether headaches are good for you or not. As long as you’re thinkin...

NIGERIA TO THE WORLD: The Elegance Of The Ikwere People

Ever heard of the  Ikwere  people? Let’s take a quick trip to the heart of the Niger Delta! They are mostly  found in Rivers State, Nigeria and spread acro ss four Local Government Areas: Port Harcourt,  Obio-Akpor ,  Ikwerre , and  Emohua .  They call themselves the  iwhnurohna  meaning the fierce people.  The origin of their language is conflicting but their dialect shares similarities with the Igbo dialect .   The  Ikwerre  exist in well-delineated clans, with each clan having its own  paramount king . The  Ikwerre  do not have an overall paramount ruler or king, but designated kings, rulers or leaders mostly approved by their constituents. However, all paramount rulers in  Ikwerre  are united in what is known as  Ogbakor   Ikwerre .  Traditionally, the  Ikwere  were primarily farmers and fishermen. With the discovery of oil and gas, the economy has shift...

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 1) - Elvira Jordan

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND AND VISUALIZATION (Pt 1) - Elvira Jordan Good Morning Beloved! ✨ I always say “morning” because anytime you get to see this message, that is your morning… (a little side message for my family). ****** Right from my childhood days, I have always had a creative mind. I see the world a lot different from how it actually is or how it should be. Even when things are really wrong, I may have a completely perfect scenario in my own head, one that keeps my mind at peace. I am quite certain that when I narrate some events involving other people, my own perspective may be surprising to them. As a child who didn’t grow up with all the security and comfort required, I developed a coping mechanism that always kept me cheerful and happy. Everyone else could have better stuff, be living a better life or have better things but for me, it was a thing of the mind. I always see mine as unique and superior to whatever others may have. As time went on, I began to realize that whenever...

NIGERIA TO THE WORLD: The Story Of The Ogoni 9 (Ken Sarowiwa)

L et’s go back in time to the story of the Ogoni nine, the martyrs for environmental justice worldwide. The  Ogoni Nine  were a group of nine activists from the Ogoni region of  Nigeria  who opposed the  oil exploration and the  operating practices of the  Royal Dutch Shell  oil corporation in the Niger Delta region. The first oil was extracted in 1958 and the first documented oil spill occurred in 1970. Their opposition  started  as a result of  extreme environmental degradation  due to oil  extraction … a venture that was of little-to-no benefit to the  the ogoni people .  In 1990,  a group known as the  Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People,  MOSOP presented the Ogoni Bill of Rights, demanding political autonomy,  (which simply refers to the right to stand on its own and make its own decisions)  a fair share of oil revenues, and environmental remediation from the Nigerian governmen...
