Good Morning Beloved! 🥂
How has your environment influenced you this period? How has the media space been for you lately? I mean radio, television, social media. What has been the predominant narrative? Except you are tuned to a different media in a different world, it is predominantly flooded by negativity, distractions from reality, money worship, separation, bad news, chaos, war, sexuality and death.
It seems like whenever I see a television or pick up my phone, it’s either scores of people were killed somewhere, accidents destroying lives and properties, threats of war, contents that commonize sex and substance abuse, display of extravagant lifestyle or some doom-activist trying to brainwash men into hating women and vice versa. You cannot scroll through 5 TV channels or social media posts without getting at least 3 negative occurrences somewhere.
It is true that bad news sells but have you ever wondered why the beauties of life, colourful pieces of art, celebrations and innovations never get enough publicity? I’ll tell you why.
Deep within the fabrics of government, politics, religion and civil society, there are certain groups of people that have the world (earth) in their hands. These people cut across different countries, cultures, languages, continents and races, subtly determining our lives, patterns of behavior, contents we consume, our way of life, our belief systems and what we see as right and wrong.
A simple example of this was the COVID-19 lockdown, which was a calculated step to restrict humanity, keep them locked in on the internet, and to generally limit everything material like mediums of purchase, interactions etc.
Did you notice that humanity started relying more on technology after the COVID?
Do you know how easy it became to control humanity?
Who benefits from this?
I’ll let you figure this out yourself.
Stepping away from my little conspiracy theory, there is really a worldwide attempt to keep humanity trapped in negativity fueled by fear, violence, shame, poverty etc. These are low vibrational energies that make humans easy to manipulate and control. A man who lives in fear of danger will easily worship one who promises protection. A poor and hungry man will do anything to eat. A man who hates women (or a woman who hates men) will stop at nothing to bring down who they hate.
Without much stress, we are gradually being programmed to empower these sets of people who control the world. It’s a war between good and bad, positive and negative, darkness and light, and I am afraid to say that darkness is winning (without any religious sentiments).
In the face of all this, I admonish us all to jealousy guard our hearts, our minds and our mental health. Whatever book, social media post, news or TV show you are consuming; whatever preaching, motivational speech or piece you consume, ask yourself this question “what part of my mind is this feeding?” Is it fear, love, hate, subtle control, sexuality, violence, substance abuse etc?
The tides of negativity are very strong on planet earth this period. But we can collectively move against the tides by retuning ourselves to empathy, love, peace, compassion and critical thinking. This can be done by reprogramming ourselves to align with God’s original plan for us, underneath what man has interpreted it to be. We need to retune ourselves to nature; breathe and find deep within ourselves, the power to exclude our minds and souls from the general programming.
No matter how powerful the “world powers” may be, they are subject to our own will, and they operate under the ultimate “God-power” which makes them open to defeat.
We need to reconnect with our inner man.
Deep within our soul is the true God-power that makes us immune to the powers of this world.
As you go about your day today, ponder on these words.
BIBLE VERSE: Revelations 12:9-17
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, guard our hearts and minds against every negative. Give us the power to stand against adversaries, with stories of redemption and victory on our lips everyday. Amen
