THE BEST REST YOU CAN EVER HAVE - Elvira Jordan
Hello Beloved! 😊
The month of April started with a very different energy for me… a certain daring energy I must say.
Before the year 2020, I used to be on a very fast vibe. You know that energy when you think you are in control of everything, you are running very fast but still in one place… that was me.
But from the year 2019 to 2020, the oil in my engine dried up, my strength was gone and I couldn’t run anymore, so I decided to rest. My dear lovely people, I have been resting since then.
Whatever has been happening in my life since 2021 has been happening on its own. I kind of lost the interest for anything at all. I have been enjoying a default energy mode and it’s nice.
However, the month of April is coming with a different longing… the need to run again, to be an achiever like I used to, always trying, always reaching, always showing up and doing.
I have been feeling a bit lazy lately. Opportunities I would have grabbed in the past are just floating right before me and I have no interest in them, even though I know they will be for my own good.
Although I am trying to draw the line between What needs to be done and what should be left to happen on its own, I recommend taking a step back from pushing, pulling and fighting for everything, just relaxing in a certain knowing that things will always turn out well.
It is the most peaceful state that anyone can be. 😊
At the end of the day, night will fall and the sun will go down. Whatever is meant to happen will happen. Life will always be as it is meant to be, without our efforts.
All we need is that little will that is required to do what needs to be done at the right time.
Things will turn always turn out well (not necessarily according to our expectations) because Something (or Someone) higher than our knowledge, Who sees farther than we ever can, Who is more powerful than we are, is in control and His will is always towards a Hope and a Future.
I know we have been told to put in the work, thrive, climb and do our best, yet my statements above does not diminish the need to do what needs to be done.
However, we should always learn to draw the line between what needs to be done and doing too much.
If we can learn to lean into the flow of God and the working of the Universe, we will see that just as we have no control over our heart beat, the rise and fall of the sun, and the tides of the waters, so also can every other aspect of our life fall in place, when we let go of the reins of control and hand things over to God.
The need to be in charge, to be powerful, to grab at things.. thinking that things happen because of how well we do or how hard we try, this comes from the ego’s need for validation.
When the heart rules over the ego, it is relaxed, peaceful, beautiful, calm, calculated, yet always ready and efficient because it does what is needed.
God directs through the heart, calmly and patiently. So life happens not as work or effort, but just like breathing.
Cool, Calm, Necessary 😊
Relax!
Calm Down!
No be you dey run am. Na God! 😏
Hand over the wheel to God and see how it goes
BIBLE VERSE: Psalm 23
23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not [a]want.
2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures;
He leads me beside the [c]still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will [d]dwell in the house of the Lord
[e]Forever.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, today we surrender everything to You, we ask You to take the lead, as Your Hand is known to bring Fulfillment, Joy and Abundance of Blessings. Let Your Light go ahead of us and make everything perfect. Amen
Do have a Blessed Monday and a Successful Week ahead.
