I mean, from the new moon to the full moon is 28 days for a reason and if we want to follow that critically, our new year may start in February… I know mine does.  Here’s what works for me… I see the full moon as the end of every month and the end of every month is the end of a circle for me. The Obolo people also known as Andoni or Doni, is a multi-ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. Obolo people are mostly found in Rivers State and Akwa Ibom State. Their homeland is largely riverine—made up of creeks, islands, and coastal settlements. The Andoni people speak Obolo language that combines Efik, Ibibio, Oron, and Ijaw dialects. Known for their deep cultural lifestyle, the Adonis are believed by some to be the fiercest warriors in the Niger Delta.
